"Trzeci i ostatni prototyp nowej serii 162, z zawieszeniem pneumatycznym wszystkich osi, został wyposażony w szerszą kabinę tramwaju w porównaniu do wersji z kapturem. Prototyp nie posiadał napędzanej osi przedniej i jako jedyny był wyposażony nie tylko w silnik serii T5, ale także w nową szesnastobiegową skrzynię biegów własnej konstrukcji."
